After a dramatic day of record-breaking racing, there was a disappointing end to yesterday’s Manx Grand Prix action.
Two riders had to be airlifted to hospital after crashes at Sulby and Ramsey in the Vintage Parade.
In the end the parade was red flagged and some riders had to travel back to the Grandstand on open roads.
Meanwhile, Bedfordshire rider Ollie Linsdell was transferred to a hospital in Liverpool yesterday evening for observation.
He had initially been treated at Noble’s Hopsital after coming off at Bishop's Court in a serious incident during the morning’s first race.
Further details on his condition haven't been made available.
