Villa Gardens to close

The Villa Marina Gardens will close today (Monday) so an ice rink can be set up for the festive period.

The Department of Tourism and Leisure says it's made the decision in the interests of safety.

They'll stay closed until construction of the Sure Skate Ice Rink has been completed.

If you're visiting the Villa during this period, you must make alternative parking arrangements as access to the car park via Broadway will not be possible while heavy goods vehicles make their deliveries.

Sure Skate will be open to the public from Tuesday next week (November 24).
