Caught crossing closed roads seconds before racers arrive
A viral video being shared on Facebook shows the moment a man crossed the Southern 100 course twice – just seconds before racers tore past him at high speed.
The video, uploaded to YouTube by David Partridge on Thursday, shows the man casually strolling across the road on the Southern 100 course before crossing again after the first bikes came through.
The video, shot on closed roads on the Castletown bypass just before Ballakeighan, has already racked up almost 7,000 views.
Reports on Twitter say the man was later detained by police.
