A request for around £3 million for renovation work at Victoria Road Primary School has been put off for a month.
The Department of Education and Children was set to ask for the funding at the April sitting of Tynwald, which has started this morning.
A statement from the DEC says it's not been able to fully brief Tynwald members on the plans, because of the Easter break.
Therefore it has been decided to defer the motion until the May sitting.
