An Island vets practice has announced it's expanding its farm and equine services.

Strand Vets is launching Ballaglea Vets as a dedicated service for Manx farms and horse owners.

The company says the change reflects its growth and commitment to continuing to provide veterinary care to the Island community.

The announcement comes just weeks after another vet recently announced plans to end its agriculture services, resulting in concern from the farming sector before the move was paused.
