Chief executive thanks staff after busy winter period
The chief executive of Manx Care says very high levels of flu and respiratory illness have presented operational challenges this winter.
Teresa Cope praised and thanked staff for their work at the organisation's latest board meeting.
Public Health Isle of Man confirmed this week that there's no evidence that the record number of cases of the winter vomiting bug norovirus being seen at UK hospitals is happening here.
But, Ms Cope says respiratory cases have been seen at similar levels on Island to those recorded across:
