Member Bill Shimmins says government finances are faring well
A VAT cut on some food and attractions from twenty to five per cent, is a 'manageable' cost for government.
That's from Treasury Member Bill Shimmins, who says the move, which follows the UK, will support the Island's hospitality sector.
The reduction is to take effect from Wednesday, 15 July.
