The parish of Marown has suffered a spate of vandalism.
A memorial bench in a playground in Crosby was ripped from the concrete plinth it was secured to and thrown into the river, as was a nearby gate.
Someone also tried to set fire to some recently refurbished public toilets in the community.
Lorraine Quayle, wife of Middle MHK Howard Quayle, told John Moss the toilet roll had been strewn across Marown Football Club's pitch too:
The vandalism occurred some time overnight on March 23/24. The number for Peel police is 842208.
