Police in Peel are looking for vandals who smashed a shop window.
It was damaged sometime between 3.15pm yesterday and 7.30am today.
Officers say considerable force would have been needed to break the glass on the rear window as it was reinforced, and it's possible a mop handle which was found nearby may have been used.
The rear of the premises on Douglas Street overlooks a public car park, and police are hopeful that drivers there may have seen something.
Anyone with information is asked to ring police headquarters on 631212.
