
The smashing of a window at the RNLI shop in Ramsey a fortnight ago was depressing news - many asked 'how could anyone vandalise a charity shop'?
Extra donations have poured-in to cover the £700 repair bill.
And not only that: the culprit has come forward and owned-up - said he's sorry - and has offered to make amends.
As a result, the RNLI has asked the police not to press charges.
