Training course for Island residents
Recognising and tackling abuse is the focus of a training programme this week (28th-29th Sept).
Speakers from the Emerge scheme, which has been running in the USA since 1977, are visiting the Island to educate charities, service professionals and the general public on the subject.
Organisers say abuse can take many forms, and is an issue which society as a whole should face up to.
Ted German is the programme's training director:
Sidecar competitor confident the class will return to the TT in 2027
Ramsey Swing Bridge 'a key line' for businesses
