Passenger watchdog TravelWatch Isle of Man says it hopes there's a degree of urgency in talks over the Island's airlinks to Gatwick.
Earlier this year Flybe's decided to sell its take-off and landing slots to Easyjet, and it's been suggested the latter may be persuaded to increase the frequency of its flights to the London hub next year.
RecentlyTravelWatch has highlighted steps which have been taken by authorities in Guernsey and Inverness to protect their Gatwick links.
Its spokesman for air travel, Terry Liddiard, says there isn't much time left if the Island is hoping to see an improvement in its London link in 2014
