More than 2,200 people have an understanding of Manx Gaelic
There are now more than 2,200 people on the Isle of Man that can understand and speak Manx Gaelic.
That's according to Culture Vannin's Manx Language Development Officer.
Census data shows 20 per cent of people now understand the language and there's also been a keen interest from people outside the Island wanting to learn it too.
