Douglas Library’s computer suite has been upgraded.
Twelve new PCs and workstations have been installed at the Victoria Street facility, which is open to the public six days a week and features computers equipped with broadband access and Microsoft Vista.
Borough Librarian Jan Macartney says the upgraded suite is a direct response to public consultation on the library’s services.
Use of the suite is free to senior citizens on Monday to Friday mornings and to youngsters and students after school and on Saturdays.
