More than 600 respond to race and ethnic minority survey
Updating the Manx curriculum to cover racial diversity is one of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture's top priorities for the next five years.
That's from the Education Advisory Support Division as race and ethnic minority themes will be taught in schools from September.
It comes after more than 600 people responded to a survey on the subject, with 64% calling for the curriculum to be adapted.
Joel Smith says it's a high priority issue:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
