Up to 2,500 may have had Covid-19

Interim antibody test report published

An early study shows up to 2,500 people may have had coronavirus on the Isle of Man. 

It's one the figures published in an interim report on the government's antibody testing programme. 

The early data suggests an underlying virus prevalence rate of 2.5 per cent, when known positive cases are included.

That means there could have been between 1,680 and 2,520 cases here at the height of the virus.

More than 3,800 of the tests have been completed so far, on a range of groups including patients who have previously tested positive, healthcare staff, and key workers.
