Local vessels given two weeks to fish in Marine Nature Reserve
Ten local vessels have been given permission to fish in Ramsey Bay’s marine nature reserve to collect sustainably sourced scallops.
It's usually an area which is kept off limits but for two weeks this month it has been opened up.
The Manx Fish Producers' Organisation says it's a 'collaborative approach' which shows that 'fishing and flourishing eco-systems can co-exist successfully'.
