58-year-old faces nine charges
A Union Mills man will stand trial after being accused of two offences of gross indecency with a child.
Dennis George Wakefield, of Snugborough Avenue, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he was told his case has been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
The allegations date between April 2016 and January 2022.
The 58-year-old has denied indecently assaulting a child between April 2016 and April 2020 and six offences of making indecent photographs of children between 2010 and 2022.
Bail was granted until his first appearance before the higher court on a date to be set.
