Public sector pay reforms trigger union backlash
The head of a local union has accused MHKs of double standards over public sector pay reforms.
Revised terms for government staff 'new starters' were introduced in May which will cut pay by ten per cent.
Angela Moffatt from Prospect has voiced her displeasure at the notion politicians should be able to avoid similar cuts to their salaries.
She says it adds to the mistrust surrounding the Island's politicians.
