Union defends hospital porters

A union head has leaped to the defence of porters at Noble’s Hospital.

It’s after their earnings came under scrutiny in a local newspaper article.

It’s claimed the highest-paid hospital porter earned more than £40,000 last year.

But Unite leader Eric Holmes says one unusual case has been highlighted to give a one-sided impression.
