Strike to take place next week
The lead negotiator for the Communication Workers Union says he's fighting not just for his members but to protect the future of the Post Office.
CWU Deputy General Secretary Postal, Terry Pullinger, was speaking following last night's rejection of the latest proposals from the Post Office Board.
The Union says it wants to continue talks and is tabling its own proposals this weekend.
Mr Pullinger says if the people of the Island care about their postal services, they should make sure they know what's going on.
