
The head of the union which represents Isle of Man postal workers says he’s encouraged by the decision to delay closure of two Crown post offices.
Last week, politicians agreed to postpone by three months, plans to relocate the loss-making main flagship offices in Douglas and Ramsey to nearby Spar shops.
Terry Pullinger, national officer for the Communication Workers Union, last month called for the relocation to be delayed.
And after the House of Keys agreed to a short-term reprieve, Mr Pullinger said public opinion was starting to count:
