Footpaths closed from Chasms to Burroo Ned
Unexploded ordnance has been found on the coastal footpath near Spanish Head, Port Erin Coastguard has confirmed.
The organisation says a team is securing the site and they're now awaiting a specialist team to arrive from the UK to deal with the matter.
As a result, footpaths have been closed from the Chasms through to Burroo Ned, close to the Sound.
Access to the Sound cafe will be unaffected.
Coastguards add more information will be shared when the area has reopened.
