ILO estimate shows 1,417 out of work
Unemployment fell on the Island last month but remains higher than pre-pandemic levels.
1,417 people were out of work in February, according to the International Labour Organisation estimate, down from 1,929 in January.
There were 625 vacancies advertised at the job centre in February.
When measured by the number of those registered for Job Seekers allowance, there were 822 unemployed people in February, down 212 from January.
The figure is still 433 higher than the same period last year.
It leaves the unemployment rate at 1.9 per cent, down from 2.4 per cent in January.
