A letter to the United Nations is being drawn-up by Home Affairs bosses in the Island, over a report on drug use it says is 'out-of-date' and 'misleading'.
The UN survey said the Isle of Man had the highest level of cocaine use in the world, per head of population.
That's been dismissed by senior officials and politicians at Home Affairs, who say the figures were taken from a 2007 survey of teenagers and applied in a highly misleading way, across the whole population.
A complaint will be passed to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime which compiled the league table.
