UN Day call for Manx charities to work together

Never give up tackling issues

Charities on the Island should work together - that's the message from the United Nations Association of the Isle of Man.

Director and Company Secretary Jenny Thompson was speaking on United Nations Day, which falls on the anniversary of the UN's charter.

The message of this year's day was to never give up tackling the world's issues.

Ms Thompson says that message is also relevant to the Island.
