Locals help record lesson in multiple languages
Manx residents are being thanked for helping a UK charity translate an online lesson about Covid-19 safety.
Education Saves Lives has created the free lesson, which addresses what coronavirus is, how it's spread, how to reduce risk of infection, when medical help should be sought, and disperses some myths about the virus.
It's been translated into multiple languages thanks, in part, to a number of Island residents, who provided their bilingual abilities to help make the video as accessible as possible to people around the world.
Director of Education Saves Lives Rachel Butt says the charity was overwhelmed with the response from Islanders to a plea for help last month:
To help spread the word about the safety video, you can contact the charity via its website.
