UCM forges Nunnery partnership
A new partnership to build a unique learning environment for Manx students.
That's what education chiefs at University College Isle of Man (UCM) and the International Centre for Technology are hoping to achieve.
They've established a new 'IT Technology Education Campus' at the Nunnery, offering students 'high quality education', skills training and access to emerging businesses.
ICT hopes the presence of newly educated local graduates will attract technology companies to the Island.
Gail Corran, higher education manager at 'UCM', explained how the new partnership came about:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
