MHK seeks support for 21 recommendations for change
Tynwald is being asked to 'break the cycle' by approving a series of changes to the way government supports vulnerable young people.
Tim Baker MHK, who chaired a committee looking at accommodation provisions for such residents, wants Tynwald to back 21 recommendations.
The proposals include increasing the age youngsters leave care from 18 to 21, and introducing an autism champion.
Mr Baker urged the court to support the changes when opening the debate this morning:
