'Hands, face, space' impossible to achieve says Watterson

Tynwald will meet virtually tomorrow (19 July) after concerns about ventilation in the chamber and the safety of members.

The final sitting of the Howard Quayle administration could be held remotely after worries were expressed about the current risk of contracting the virus.

Some members have health concerns, families affected by Covid-19 or haven't been double vaccinated.

Speaking in his role as Deputy President Juan Watterson said the 'hands, face, space advice of Public Health would be impossible to achieve'.

He also believes that cross-infection was a possibility due to the lack of adequate ventilation in the chamber.
