Edinburgh Woollen Mills Group starting renovation work
The Carlisle-based firm which took over the Tynwald Mills complex earlier this month says its aim in the future will be to increase the family and children options available.
But a spokesman says the immediate priority is to renovate those parts of the interior in the St John's property which need sprucing up.
Edinburgh Woollen Mills Group says it is looking at certain proposals, but their plans are still being drawn up.
At the time of the takeover, it was described as an incredible opportunity.
The firm says its hope is to make the complex the number one shopping destination on the Island.
