Banding system raised in discussions
Members of Tynwald and the Office of Fair Trading met with the new boss of Manx Gas this week to discuss standing charges.
New managing director of the company Ian Plenderleith discussed the issue yesterday (14 Dec) with MHK's Chris Robertshaw, Clare Bettison, Alex Allinson and Rob Callister - MLC David Cretney was also present.
Mr Plenderleith replaced Tony Nicholls in the position earlier this week.
In an online post, Mr Callister said the meeting cleared some points of concern over the banding system, and refunds for customers.
He wrote on social media it was a 'good opportunity' to raise certain issues, which Mr Callister believes will be looked at and reviewed in future.
