Committee seeks support for 19 recommendations
Politicians are being asked to approve new recommendations which aim to enhance protections for the Isle of Man's built heritage.
The Select Committee on Built Heritage has handed over 19 suggestions after uncovering 'alarming' statistics highlighting an erosion of the Island's 'cultural fabric'.
The recommendations see Tynwald 'reaffirm' its commitment to protecting historic environments, but also redefines 'demolition' to be classed as 'development' instead.
