On the hunt for lines of enquiry
Members of the Manx public and local organisations are being asked to submit questions to a scrutiny arm of Tynwald for an upcoming meeting.
The Public Accounts Committee has issued an open invitation for Islanders to suggest lines of inquiry during its next open session on Wednesday 24 January.
From 2:30pm at the Legislative Buildings, Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan and Chief Financial Officer Sheila Lowe will give evidence to the committee on Government's financial health.
Its accounts are now available for the year ending 2017 for public viewing.
Committee chairman Juan Watterson says following the success of a similar session held earlier in the year, the body is now open to more questions from the public.
He says there's no guarantee a submission will be used, members are keen to identify topics of public interest.
Any questions should be sent to the committee clerk by the close of business on Friday 8 December.
