Extraordinary sitting requested by chief minister
Tynwald will hold its second 'virtual sitting' in five days this afternoon.
The court will hold another extraordinary meeting via audio link from 2:30pm, following a request from the chief minister.
Friday saw the Manx parliament conduct its business digitally for the first time ever, in accordance with government's measures on social distancing in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Once again, Howard Quayle will make a statement to his Tynwald colleagues this afternoon.
That'll be followed by a series of motions relating to the Emergency Powers Act of 1936.
Members will then be asked to approve three motions from the treasury minister, on social security measures, the Covid-19 salary support scheme and income tax.
