It's time for the Manx public to show some community spirit - so say police who are appealing for witnesses after a theft on the Tynwald Day fairfield.
The Isle of Man Children’s Centre was raising funds for its charity on two stalls between three and 3.30pm on Monday when a Silver coloured I pod Shuffle was stolen.
It was still in its packaging and was due to be used as the prize for a free draw but will now need to be replaced, reducing the amount raised for the charity.
Police are branding it a ‘thoughtless act’ are asking anyone who was on the fairfield at the time and saw anything to contact Peel station on 842208.
