The Chairman of the Tynwald Setting Enhancement Sub-Committee says there will be something for everyone to enjoy at this year's Tynwald Day celebrations.
President of Tynwald, Noel Cringle, says the committee works to arrange events and displays to add to and enhance the formal proceedings of the open air Tynwald ceremony which takes place this year on 7th of July.
Whilst delighted that there will be new events to enjoy, some aimed particularly at younger people, at what will be a royal Tynwald Day this year, Mr Cringle says the aim certainly isn't to make the national day a day of two halves:
Farmers in race against time after freight backlog in Heysham
Further changes to sailing schedule due to tidal restrictions
Census 'still one of the most valuable statistical tools' for government
'Immigration is needed' for economic growth on Island
