Speaker of the House of Keys Steven Rodan attended 20th Tynwald Day
The Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan attended his 20th Tynwald Day ceremony today.
He described it as a unique and precious institution, which marked the Island's status as an independent nation.
Mr Rodan said many people take for granted the traditional spectacle which follows the same pattern each year.
But he said the ceremony symbolises the Island's ability to prosper, alone.
