Clerk offers alternative complaints procedures
A Tynwald committee hearing lasted just 18 minutes today, after the clerk explained the panel "can't look at things where you could sue, or undertake a complaints process, because that's an alternative to the petition for redress."
Mr and Mrs Salmon presented a petition on Tynwald Day (page 113-114), calling for a select committee to be established to examine the code of conduct for public servants.
