Health Minister says over-spending has become a recurring problem
The health department will receive an extra £8million for the current financial year.
Tynwald approved the additional funding after Health Minister David Ashford sought the extra finances for his department's services.
It's the fifth consecutive year the health department has had to ask for more money.
