Summerhill View to replace Reayrt ny Baie
The spending of almost £12 million has been unanimously approved by Tynwald members, to build a new care home in Douglas.
Summerhill View is set to offer greater dementia care, with room for further future development.
Health Minister David Ashford today asked Tynwald to approve the spending for the facility at the former Glenside home.
It would replace Reayrt ny Baie, and is expected to take two years to complete.
