A new unit could be built for adults suffering from mental illnesses if Tynwald approves funding when it sits tomorrow (Tuesday, May 19th).
Replacing Grianagh Court, the £7.5 million building would have six extra rooms as well as state-of-the-art facilities.
The current unit is totally full, which doesn't meet the NHS standards of 85 to 95 per cent occupancy to allow for emergencies.
