Unanimous support from court
A strategy to ban the use of single use plastic across government departments has been approved.
The Single Use Plastics Reduction Plan was unanimously agreed in Tynwald today, (18 July) after being presented to members by Environment Minster Geoffrey Boot.
Banning balloon releases, minimising plastics at events, and easier tap water accessibility will come into immediate effect.
