Government 'confident as it can be' of no further transmission
Government is still not clear about how the two Covid-19 cases of unknown origin which were identified on Saturday arose.
The pair are not linked to each other, or to the recent Steam Packet cluster.
Ministers chose not to introduce restrictions today after the tracing of close contacts returned negative results.
That announcement was made at a media briefing today by Chief Minister Howard Quayle:
The Director of Public Health says the source of infection for the pair of cases announced on Saturday remains unclear.
According to Dr Henrietta Ewart, the chain of transmission hasn't been identified:
It was confirmed that social distancing and face coverings remain voluntary at this time.
