Two men have been committed to a court of General Jail by the High Bailiff on drugs and assault charges.
22-year old Paul David Madsen-Migdall of Murrays Road in Douglas is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Christopher Paul Gillies and being concerned in the supply of drugs to another.
26-year old Gillies of Belmont Terrace Douglas is charged with blackmail, threatening to cause death or serious injury to Madsen-Migdall, assaulting and causing actual bodily harm and being concerned in the supply of drugs to another.
Both men have been bailed and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
