Caution urged as drivers lose control
Police are warning drivers to take extra care on slippery roads around the island, after two accidents this morning (2 April).
A car ended on its side after crashing into a wall at Greeba Bends at just after 7am.
The driver wasn't hurt and the road remained passable as emergency services dealt with the scene.
A short time later, a car crashed into hedges on Vicarage Road in the Kirby area of Douglas, the driver suffering minor injuries.
Police have tweeted the roads are slippery from rainfall, and urge motorists to drive carefully.
