Two candidates will vie for the vacant seat on the board of Ramsey Commissioners next month.
Steve Bevan - a member of the Education Council and a governor at a number of local schools - and retailer Stephen Rand will bid for the seat in the town’s south ward.
The vacancy arose after former commissioner Leonard Singer was elected to the House of Keys last month.
Whoever is successful on November 10 will serve until April next year.
