
Hit television teen drama Skins is set for a big screen adaptation and will be part-filmed on the Isle of Man.
The show, which has run on E4 for four series so far, follows the lives of a group of sixth formers in Bristol.
It is known for its unflinching plotlines which cover issues like drugs, eating disorders, mental illness and death.
The film is a joint venture between Manx film fund CinemaNX, Company Pictures and Film4.
Shooting in Bristol and the Island later this year, it's scheduled for a summer 2011 release.
