
Love it or loathe it, the wind could be worth a fortune to the Isle of Man.
Environment Minister Phil Gawne says plans to produce a transmission network across the Irish Sea could have two effects.
Connecting wind turbines to a grid would help increase the use of renewable energy, but it could also mean millions of pounds in rent income for the Island.
Mr Gawne recently attended a conference in Glasgow on the huge potential of the proposed network, which would connect power sources in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
