Skelly and Corlett to appear before Tynwald committee
Senior figures in a government department will be scrutinised on Thursday afternoon over ultimately fruitless plans to establish a TT world series.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly and chief executive Chris Corlett are due to be quizzed by Tynwald’s Economic Policy Review Committee.
A total of £332,000 was spent on the TT project before the idea was shelved last month.
The committee will hear evidence from both men at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber on Prospect Hill in Douglas.
